A day at SFMOMA

Khoa Lieu

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, my passion for photography began at an early age.  My father was a photographer and both of my parents are incredible artists and musicians. My first camera was an Asahi Pentax K1000 35mm camera.  I loved being hands-on and involved with the entire process from scouting locations and setting up shoots to developing film and printing images.  I have learned countless skills from my father and from classes in school.

After many years of shooting film on my Pentax and my Canon A-1, I transitioned to my first digital Point and Shoot and then on to Digital SLR cameras.  With my passion for photography combined with a love for automobiles and motorcycles, I found myself spending countless hours at car shows and events.  Broadening my skills, I began to branch out into landscape photography, portraiture and now film.

I really hope you enjoy my photography.  Please feel free to contact me at any time. You can also follow me on social media at the links on the bottom of my site.  Cheers!
